Mathius had a free class so he sat in on a English class due to his bond to the professor ms Harris. He regularly loved to write so English class was his favorite.

Personality:
Declan may try to act like the tough guy every now and then, but when it comes down to it he’s just a teddy bear. Declan is the one you’d see walking around wearing a “Free Hugs” t-shirt. He’s incredibly kind-hearted and loveable, and knows how to make a person smile. There really doesn’t seem to be a mean bone in his body. Which is not true. Declan has been in his fair share of fights, though typically he’s fighting for someone else. He would never fight for his own purposes. Declan is always the first seen to stand up for another, whether they are High Breed or not – because Declan believes in equality between High Breeds and humans. Someone who gets decent grades, Declan isn’t the most brilliant light in the room. Not intelligence-wise. But, otherwise, Declan is certainly the brightest light in the room when it comes to his personality. It’s quite difficult for most people to hold grudges on Declan. Become friends with Declan, and you’ve got the most incredibly loyal friend around. Family:
Ayden McClain (Father; 50)
Helena McClain (Mother; 46) Friends:
Declan has a lot of friends. But not too many super close friends. Enemies:
Everyone has their enemies. Crush:
None as of now. Likes:
Declan enjoys making new friends, as well as learning new things. A highly adventurous and curious person, Declan is typically the first to jump forth and is ready for any hands on projects at school. He isn’t afraid to leap into a new opportunity. Sometimes. Declan has also taken a liking towards parkour, even though his mother isn’t a huge fan of it – as she feels like he’s going to get injured one of these days from it. But, Declan adores heights, and feels completely relaxed when he’s on the roof of a building or off climbing a mountain somewhere. So, traveling is another thing Declan enjoys. But, not as much as helping someone. Dislikes:
Declan absolutely hates it when he sees someone picking on another person. It’s times like those when Declan isn’t afraid to step up and throw a fist. He can’t stand the sight of people being belittled or beaten down on, especially when that person has no form of defense. Another thing Declan isn’t too fond of are High Breeds who think they are higher than humans. Declan believes completely in inequality, and likes to think that they are viewed just as humans view one another. . . though he also knows that isn’t true. But, he can most certainly wish that they will be one day. Or that High Breeds will one day see humans as equals to them. Oh, and don’t call Declan an insect. He doesn’t appreciate that.
History:
Declan was born into a very happy family, one where everyone was kind and loving towards one another. Declan could never complain about his childhood, because there was nothing to complain about. But, when middle school came around, that is a bit of another story. Declan’s older sister was 14 at the time, making Declan 11 years old. During one of his classes, he was called down to the office, where he was informed of his sister’s death. She had killed herself. One day, during school, his sister had started to change, started to grow wings and shed feathers. Nobody at her school understood what was happening, and neither did she. Neither did the family. But, even though they accepted her, and continued to love her as their daughter, the rest of the neighborhood didn’t. She was shunned at school and ridiculed for weeks, months. Their mail at home would be filled with letters of hate and threats. She couldn’t take it anymore. She didn’t know how to deal with all of it. And she hung herself. And Declan grew to detest people who would make fun of one another. He absolutely hated bullies. And he was constantly getting into fights with bullies when he would find them talking or beating down on another kid. And it was during one of those fights that Declan lifted a dumpster above his head, as though it weighed nothing. At the time, High Breeds were more familiar to the world, but it was still a startling experience for everyone. And Declan and his family decided that it was finally time to move, and they did. And to help cope with everything, Declan’s father decided that they would go on trips every now and then. They would go on adventures. And, already, Declan has climbed the Grand Canyon and Mt. Everest in record times. And he is content with his new neighborhood. And is currently content with his new school – Woodsboro High School. Ambitions:

Declan had just reached the school. He’s late. He had slept past his alarm. This has never happened to Declan before. He remembers hitting that snooze button, knowing that he’d have five minutes more of peaceful rest. Knowing his parents would be off to work, unable to save him from this moment. And now here he is, rushing through the halls, speed walking as to not get in trouble for running. Books tucked securely under his armpit, he gets several odd glances from those who wander around the school during their free period. Or are skipping. Declan would never skip. He’s the good kid. Not the smartest in class, but at least good. And the last thing he needs is to get in trouble with a teacher. Because then not only would he be the one with bad grades, but he’d also be viewed as a bad kid for being late. Double bad!The thought wrenches Declan’s heart, and he staggers into the English room, grasping onto his chest as though in legitimate pain. Students glance over, and the teacher just oddly looks.
With a subtle sigh, the teacher gives a short shake of the head, then gestures for Declan to take a seat. Beaming with relief, muscles relaxing instantly, Declan treks his way over to his desk and plops into the chair. He sets his books down on the desktop, and then takes in a deep breath before releasing. Good. He’s still just the good kid with bad grades. Not the bad kid with bad grades.

Cosette had slowly made her way to school. She wouldn’t go to this class, though. Not the first one. She’d wait it out until second period. Who knows, maybe she’d change her mind by then and decide to head back to her apartment. There’s a shrug and a sigh, the camera that hangs from her neck shifting with her movement. She had been taking pictures along the way, most of them of inanimate objects. Cosette was never a fan of taking pictures of people.
She glances up at the school as she stands before it, grasps the camera in her hands, and then click. She takes a picture of the structure, and then lets the camera dangle once more. Cosette then continues to shuffle forward before taking a seat on one of the benches. And it doesn’t take long before she sprawls onto her side and lays down, eyes closing as she takes in the morning sunlight.
