"no i live by myself, too crowded at home, two sisters and 3 brothers aswell as my parents....it's hell" she laughed, running her hand through her hair to get rid of the dampness.
Odette looks at Blake and smiles. "Thanks. . . AGAIN." She says while grabbing the clothes. "Is there somewhere I could change? . . .I mean. Instead of doing so out here."
"why else does a girl go out to a club on a friday? food, drink and entertainment by idiots trying to dance~" she grinned "oh and of course to attempt to catch a glimpse of a cute boy~!"
"but it'd seem that instead of talking to an idiot in skinny jeans, i get to talk to a charming boy who knows more than 10 words~" she says, smiling.
"Alright, thanks." Odette smiles as she trails up the stairs. She walks through the hallway, and walks into the first room she sees. She undresses, and starts putting on the new clothes. There was something strange about this storm. Even the lightning was discolored just the slightest.
"Charming?" Ed arches a brow, and quietly laughs. "That's a new one." He ponders, and then takes Nyx's hand. Ed brings her into another room. It was massive, and the walls were replaced by bookshelves. There wasn't a single space left untouched by books.
"hey, you're charming enough for me, you invited me in your hou-" she begins, gasping as she sees the room "oh my god! it's amazing.... please tell me they aren't all in english!"she pleaded.
"I don't know. You'll have to take a look for yourself." Ed playfully smiles as he snickers. There was a seating area in the center of the room, and he sits at one of the sofas and allows her to look around.
she looks around the bookshelves, gasping loudly "oh god there's latin.... and italian....OH MY GOD YOU HAVE RUSSIAN TEXTS!" she squealed, walking over to him
"i know where you live now ed, and i know where these books are. you won't be rid of me for at least 3 weeks~" she chimed, her eyes lit up.
"I'm actually okay with that." Ed replies truthfully, now standing beside her and sliding a finger over one book. His glasses are off and resting on the coffee table that's in front of the sofa, his marvelous eyes no longer hidden.
"oh? has the cute nerd just turned into the charming prince with a thing for book spines~?" she asks, smirking "what book is it anyway that seems to be taking your intrest from the skimpy leather from which you couldn't smartly react to?"
"A Midsummer Night's Dream. . ." Ed answers her question, lifting his eyes up from the book and to her. He lightly smiles and then quietly laughs. "And I will say, what you're wearing is quite the distraction." He arches a brow, and then warmly chuckles.
"oh? is it? well i feel sorry for the people i walk by. i've been told my hips sway." she laughs, a playful glint in her eyes " and your choice of book is quite perfect all things considering~" she states
'like me being a demon falling for a human with a cute face and a book collection most demons would die for!'
"Still. I think the most distraction comes from your face. It's a work of art in itself. Beautiful." Ed says, tilting his head to one side slightly. He leans over her slightly, and then moves his face closer to hers. With their lips barely brushing, Ed smirks, and then takes a step back. He turns to face another bookshelf. Most of these books Ed had read, if not a hundred times each. But some of them would never grow old.
Ed glances over at Nyx, his eyes widening just the slightest. He clears his throat before pulling out a book, and then returning to the sofa. Ed keeps his eyes glued onto the book as he starts to read, forcing his eyes to not wander back to Nyx.
"I think I'm going to go get some drinks. Would you like anything? Tea? Hot chocolate? more water?" Ed questions as he rises from the sofa and strides over to the open doorway, stops, and turns to look at her, smiling brightly.
she turns around to see him and places a finger on her lips, biting it slightly before nodding "just water please~" she chimed before turning back to the books, crouching to see more.
Ed walks into the kitchen, and takes a deep breath. He closes his eyes for a moment, and then turns on the faucet, allowing the water to run for a while before filling two glasses. He then walks back into the room, and hands Nyx her cup. "You seemed to have taken a slight interest in some of these books. You know, you could take some home to read if you would like?"
"oh no it's fine, i'm just looking to see how many of the same books we have~" she chimed, standing up and taking a drink "i'll tell you this much, you've an extensive collection but it's nothing compared to mine~" she grinns
"who knows, maybe i'll let you see it sometime. if you can look away from my arse for more than 5 minutes~" she laughs, winking.
"half and half really. if you can speak without looking at the floor they won't sacrifice you for being unworthy~" she laughs "i'm not kidding though.... you will need to look them in the eye when you speak or they'll unleash the hellhound we keep.... but it's fine cause he's a big softie if i'm around and i've not been home for 3 months so he'll not obey my father or my brothers~" she smiled
"no it's the cat you'll want to watch out for.... he can smell fear...." she grimmaced "but we've no worry about that, i'll attempt to wear something decent~" she smirked, kissing his cheek.
