I live in New york, not really much to catch off the beachs here except the occasional big fluke or striper. Kho, spn, and myself have been snapper fishing off bridges. Been catching pretty well but the little bastards are only about 4-8 inches around this time of the year. I would love my families boat in the water but we havnt for the past 2 years now since the gas prices climb with every damn day. currently in NY the gas prices for boats is 5,50$ per gal Which is retarded because you can only keep 2 fluke per person this year. Which here is about the only thing you can catch in the bays other then sea bass and porgies, but porgies can be caught off bridges. Anybody else fish on the east end?
you bastard! still 4 per person and they have to be what 18 inches? still not worth the gas price imo. 20+ inch fluke are nice though :o Does he fish the ocean or the bays?
Well its only 5.50 for boat gas, im not quite sure why but the gas prices for boats is always atleast 50 cents higher. It averages around 4.40 a gallon for cars around here.
