"Hey, that was a nasty cold." Ed retorts, pouting somewhat as he starts to slightly swing. He then chuckles, and comes to a stop. "So. What do you want for dinner tonight?" he looks at Nyx in question.
Blake comes down in spirit form to a forest somewhere in the world he sees two wolves fighting for food and just watches for a moment... conflict... this is what he missed don't get him wrong paradise is paradise but he did miss earth
"oh please! you're just like every other man on the planet. the moment you get man flu you think you're going to die. whereas women still do all the housework and look after the kids~" she teases "and i'd love something with chicken in today dear~ i'm not up to fancy stuff today.... just food" she lsughs.
"OHHHH DAD! CAN I HAVE A STEAK?!" anubis asks excitedly, his tail wagging as his mother looks at him, eyebrow arched ".....i'll share it with horus. honest!" he pleads as bastet frowns "then i get fish right? it's only fair!" she mews up at her father as nyx laughs.
"you tell him this not me children. mommy only does weekend cooking~ because your father loves her roast dinner. but today isn't saturday or sunday~ so talk to him" she says.
Ed lets out a hearty laugh, scratching the back of his head as he shrugs. He then says, "I guess I could cook something different for all of you. I don't have work tonight, so. . . sure!" He claps his hands together.
Odette and Cedric are cleaning the apartment. Cedric had just finished his room, and he trails over to the kitchenette for a snack. Rosie is in stuffed animal form once again, and he drags her around by the ear.
"Hm. . . the cookies are too high up. . ." Cedric whispers to himself, head tilted to the side. He blinks, and the cupboard door opens. He then tosses Rosie into the air, where she transforms and snatches the cookies out of the cabinet. She flutters back down, landing beside Cedric.
Rosie gives Cedric the cookies, and he happily thanks her. But before he could open the box, Odette takes it from him.
Cedric looks at his mother and then at the cookies she had taken from him. He holds his hand up, as if trying to reach the colorful box. Rosie frowns, her ears drooping. She was also looking forward to having a treat or two. But they’ve been caught. Again.
“But I was only going to eat one. . . I promise.” Cedric says, swaying slightly on his toes. He looks up at his mother, giving her the puppy eyes.
Odette could feel herself slowly slipping. She couldn’t take much more. Cedric’s face was too much for her. After a minute of receiving the puppy eyes, Odette breaks. She sighs, and pulls four cookies out of the box. Odette hands two to Cedric, and then two to Rosie.
“There. Only two. And then maybe you can have more after dinner.” Odette scolds, placing the box of cookies back into the cabinet.
"Thank you mommy~!" Cedric chimes, jumping up and down slightly as he beams with joy.
Odette then returns to cleaning the bathroom after giving Cedric a quick pat on the head.
With a glee-filled giggle, Cedric looks at Rosie and gives her his cookies. She does a quiet cheer, quickly munching each sweet. Cedric then carefully yet skillfully climbs up the counter and opens the cupboard. He spots the target, and locks on, smiling. He is completely silent, and flicks his finger slightly. Suddenly, the box of cookies is blown down into his hands.
He leaps off the counter, landing without a sound on the living room floor, as the kitchenette and dining area is connected to the living room. Cedric sits down on the couch with the box of cookies, and turns on the television. He watches as Rosie makes her way towards him, and curls up beside Cedric, content with the four cookies she had eaten.
